Bellefaire JCB is one of the nation's largest and most experienced child service agencies, providing behavioral health, substance abuse, education, and prevention services to children, youth, and families. Originally founded in 1868 as the Cleveland Jewish Orphan Asylum, we've evolved over 150+ years to meet the ever-changing needs of our community while staying true to our mission of helping young people achieve resiliency, dignity, and self-sufficiency. Today, we operate more than 25 programs that serve over 30,000 youth and their families each year throughout Northeast Ohio.
Our comprehensive services span across multiple areas of need: residential treatment for youth with mental health challenges, autism services through our Monarch Center for Autism, foster care and adoption programs, counseling and community-based services, early childhood education at JDN Early Childhood Center, support for homeless and missing youth, and prevention programs. We're also home to specialized initiatives like the Begun Center for Resiliency and Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters Association. What drives us is the belief that every child deserves safety, support, and the opportunity to thrive - whether they're dealing with trauma, mental health struggles, autism, or simply need a stable, caring environment. Our team of dedicated professionals works across schools, homes, community settings, and our 32-acre campus to meet families wherever they are.
